 Publish process

The Publish process is the same as the Publish option in Model Manager: administrators use the process to move revisions to the cube.

The advantage of the Publish process is that you can use it to schedule updates to run automatically, for example after business hours, so that your users are not interrupted.

Parameters

This process has the following parameters:

• Description: Optional. Up to 250 characters.

• Connection: Select the connection for the cube you want to update.

• Cube: Select the cube to update.

• Check Impact: Click to see a graphical analysis of all the cubes and dimensions that the process will affect.
